Shri Saraswati Bhuvan Secondary & Higher Secondary School, Gondegaon

Shri Saraswati Bhuvan Secondary and Higher Secondary School, Gondegaon is an esteemed educational institution functioning under the guidance of the Shri Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society. The Gondegaon branch of the school was established on 21 November 1955 with the aim of providing quality education to students in rural areas and helping them build a strong academic and moral foundation.

The construction of the present school building began in 1971, and academic classes started functioning in the building from 1973. Over time, the infrastructure of the school has been developed in stages to meet the growing educational needs of the region.

Today, the school campus consists of 55 rooms. Out of these, 25 rooms are used for administrative and academic facilities such as the office, laboratories, library, computer room, examination department, sports department, school nutrition section, and staff rooms. The remaining 30 rooms are dedicated to classroom teaching, ensuring a comfortable learning environment for students.

The institution offers education from Class 5 to Class 12 with 26 teaching divisions. Currently, around 1100 students are enrolled in the secondary and higher secondary sections of the school.

In order to strengthen early education, the school also started its Primary Department on a self-financing basis in 2016. This department has a separate building with classes from Junior KG to Class 4. The primary section consists of 6 classrooms and currently provides education to around 215 students.

The institution is currently led by Head Master Shri Ramesh Sahadu Mali (B.A., B.Ed.), whose leadership and dedication contribute to the academic growth and holistic development of students. The school strives to nurture knowledge, discipline, values, and social responsibility among students while preparing them for future challenges.
